Family Law Services —
strong advocacy with compassion
Family law matters are some of the most emotionally difficult and legally complex challenges a person can face. Divorce, child custody disputes, child support issues, and domestic transitions affect every corner of a client’s life. You deserve an attorney who understands the stakes, listens to your concerns, and fights for your interests with clarity, strength, and compassion.
Why My Criminal Defense Experience Matters in Family Law:
Family law cases can be just as intense, high-conflict, and emotionally charged as major criminal matters. In both arenas, the outcomes shape people’s futures. I have spent years in courtrooms, negotiating with prosecutors, arguing motions, and trying cases before judges and juries. When emotions run high or the opposing party becomes aggressive, I stay focused, strategic, and unshaken.
My Approach to Family Law
I believe in practical, respectful, and solution-focused representation. Whenever possible, I favor negotiated outcomes that reduce conflict, protect children, and conserve resources.
But when cooperation fails or the other side refuses to be reasonable, I am fully prepared to litigate. Years in the trenches of the Public Defender’s Office have made me fearless in court. I do not back down when my client’s rights, future, or family are at stake.
pre-trial flat rate packages starting at $2,500:
Although many attorneys of equal or even lesser experience charge much higher hourly rates, I feel strongly that I want to remain accessible to the Southbay community and therefore keep my hourly rate at $350.00 per hour.
That being said, I put in a considerable amount of work and time into every case that I have. I am honored that you are considering engaging me and feel a tremendous responsibility to provide you with the best possible service. This means that the amount of time I put into your case may be extensive. Therefore, I offer PRE-TRIAL, FLATE RATE packages. This means that for our negotiated price I will thoroughly review all discovery and relevant documentation, research relevant codes, obtain necessary discovery, conduct further interviews and investigation as necessary, negotiate your case, attend all court appearances, research, write, file and litigate all relevant motions, litigate all hearings and most importantly communicate and consult with you at every step.
The vast majority of cases will resolve by the end of this process. However, if it becomes necessary to go to trial we can either switch to an hourly rate or negotiate another flat fee package.
