My practice includes estate planning, obtaining or defending restraining orders and handling landlord-tenant disputes as well as offering services in small business and non-profit formation and litigation.
My commitment is to provide high-quality legal services at competitive rates. My hourly rate is $350.00, and I also offer flat fee packages for certain services to help manage and curtail expenses.
PACKAGES:
Although many attorneys of equal or even lesser experience charge much higher rates, I feel strongly that I want to remain accessible to the often overlooked but vibrant San Diego Southbay community and therefore keep my hourly rate at $350.00 per hour.
That being said, I put in a considerable amount of work and time into every case that I have. I am honored that you are considering engaging me and feel a tremendous responsibility to provide you with the best possible service. This means that the amount of time I put into your case may be extensive. To put this into perspective, at 350.00 an hour your case would hit the 3,500 mark with 10 hours of work. A single court appearance, including travel time, is generally going to take at least half a day (call it three hours). Include client consultation time, case preparation time (including obtaining and reviewing all pertinent documentation and conducting any other necessary investigation), writing and filing of any motions or discovery necessary for hearings and you are looking at well over 10 hours by the time we hit our first hearing. Therefore, I offer the following PRE-TRIAL, FLATE RATE packages. (Expenses such as filing fees, and the use of investigators or experts not included).
DV and civil restraining orders - Starting at $4000
Whether its the terrifying need to obtain a restraining order or the frustration of being falsely accused, I can help. A restraining order hearing is like a mini-trial and I have handled countless RO and similar hearings. For this price I will prepare any necessary paperwork, file all motions, lodge all evidence, conduct investigation and interviews, thoroughly prepare for and conduct your hearing.
unlawful detainer - STARTING AT $2000
The need to remove tenants can cause a significant amount of anxiety. Whether its removing at fault problematic tenants or notifying good tenants of a no-fault eviction, I can help. $2000 for all notices, filings, pre-trial litigation and all communication with the tenants (so you don’t have to worry about talking to them anymore) up though filing of the UD. $4000 includes all of the above plus litigation prep.
estate planning - STARTING AT $500
From a simple living will to establishing a multi-beneficiary trust. Price range is determined by the complexity of the service.
